GRANDPARENTS DAY QUOTES

Sharing is caring!

Grandparents Day is traditionally celebrated in September – it falls on the first Sunday after Labour Day.
The first state to proclaim Grandparents Day was West Virginia in 1973. This was thanks to the efforts of Marian McQuade who had been advocating for the elderly since 1970. It was in 1978 when President Jimmy Carter signed a federal proclamation declaring a specific day as National Grandparents Day. It is a day to celebrate the enduring legacy of grandparents who enrich our lives with their endless love and wisdom.
